Fredrik and Simon lead “Midt på dagen” on Wednesdays
The program is intended for both radio and TV. Therefore, both studio and technique are of the slightly simpler kind than what one is used to, for example in Studio Direkte in the evening.
Miriam Lindset and Gøril Christoffersen are first out this week as well, next Tuesday 13 April.
The next day, Fredrik Løvland is in place with Simon Johansen, the youngest man in the entire host group.
Long TV experience
Fredrik has extensive experience in several positions in TV production. He speaks fluent Swedish and has thus been used a lot on the sister channel Vision Sweden. In addition, he is a photographer, reporter and he can work behind the scenes in the control room during a live broadcast.
Now he works as a host every Wednesday at 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
“I received an inquiry due to a delay in the host group. And then I was ready last Thursday”, says Fredrik. “I like this concept. It is aimed at both radio and TV and is a clearly different concept than the live broadcast that takes place in the evening, namely Studio Direkte. We need diversity, TV Vision Norway is on the air 24 hours so there must be variety, says Fredrik Løvland. With Fredrik hosting on Wednesdays, Arne Pedersen will be free during the day to concentrate fully on his job as program manager for Studio Direkte.
Fourth week on the air
“Midt På Dagen” is a type of trial show until the summer, but it is possible that the program will be extended.
Gøril Christoffersen, who has made her debut as a host, says: “I have noticed the whole concept progress over time. This is a project where a lot is created on the go. And it’s nice that the hosts are a little different, so we can influence the broadcasts in various ways.”
Gøril thinks it is a fantastic to be involved in the development of a program concept from scratch.
The youngest member of the group of presenters, Simon Johansen, says that his new job has expanded his perspective.
Everything is not perfect
“There is always something to notice from time to time. But there is room for not everything to be perfect from day one.
We are constantly improving, both in terms of content and technology”, says Simon Johansen who also works with the websites of Vision Norway. In addition, he studies political science at the University of Oslo.
